The index has hit its height for 2009, resting at 166. And since Obama is encouraging the Iranians to pursue nuclear energy, will it go higher? Keep your eyes on that index!!!!
The makers of the index warn people that, if the meter goes above 160 we ought to "fasten our seatbelts". I can't help but wonder, though... why would we want to do that?! What if Jesus came back and we had our seatbelt on?! Wouldn't we miss the rapture and be "left behind"?! Why would we do anything that could potentially keep us on the ground when that "thief in the night" comes to "snatch us up". (I'm just interpretting them literally!!)
